I believe resurfacing is the only true way to remove dead skin cells to reveal your new fresh skin. By using mild strength products , the process may take a little longer, but I believe it is better to go easy with your delicate skin, and avoid the risk of hyperpigmentation & over-exfoliation. Five Years younger provides our products at 2%, 5%, and 10% exfoliating strength.

Chemical Peel
Five Years Younger is a professional exfoliation system and one of the least invasive ways of resurfacing your skin and improving its appearance. Mostly used on the face, this peel can also be used on the neck and hands. This extraordinary peel helps diminish acne and acne scars, age spots, fine lines, wrinkles, sun-damage, and many other skin problems. Five Years Younger helps promote the growth of new skin for a fresh, improved appearance and is available in exfoliating strength only in the following products.

 

Lactic Acid
Five Years Younger Milky Cream Cleanser is a lactic acid which is derived from milk. These acids are gentle enough to use as a daily exfoliator and are excellent for sensitive skin. Lactic acid carries the same properties as glycolic acid yet is less harsh and more moisturizing. Lactic acid helps to decrease fine lines and wrinkles as well as lightening and evening out skin tone. This acid is used alone or with other chemicals for a light to medium skin resurfacing. Lactic is a wonderful way for newcomers to experience mild exfoliating, because it is so gentle, it’s a good choice for the resurfacing of darker skin types.

 

Glycolic Acid
Five Years Younger Sugar Glycolic Cleanser is an AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) derived from fruit acids or sugar cane and is a natural product. Glycolic acid is a natural exfoliant recommended for aging skin as it improves the appearance of fine lines and helps even out skin tone and retexturing.
